How to Give
Walker Methodist Foundation can accept donations via many different methods. Listed below are most the common ways to make a gift. If you don’t see the information you need, feel free to contact the foundation office.
Outright Gifts
Cash/Check
If you prefer to make a gift to the Walker Methodist Foundation by cash or check, simply mail it. Checks should be made payable to Walker Methodist Foundation. Please indicate any specific fund designation or call the foundation office for more information.Credit Card
To make a donation by credit card, please provide the foundation office with your name, the name printed on the card, your address, the credit card number, the expiration date, and the amount of your donation. Also, please indicate the area or designation of your donation. You may mail or fax your information or make a donation online.Stock and Securities
Many contributors find this a beneficial way to support Walker. When you give a gift of appreciated stock or securities, you may take advantage of a charitable tax deduction as well as a capital gains benefit. If you are considering a gift of stock or securities, please contact the foundation office for assistance.Double Your Money . . .Matching Gifts
Corporate matching gifts are a vitally important source of revenue for Walker Methodist Foundation. Thousands of companies and corporate foundations match gifts to non-profit institutions.
Eligible contributors can compound the value of their contributions, perhaps by as much as two or three times!
Contributors are able to enhance their totals for gift club membership.
Many contributors are eligible to submit matching gift claims for their own and their spouse’s employer for the same gift.
Contact the human resources office at your employer, spouse’s employer, or even former employer, if you are retired, to inquire about their matching gift program. You will be asked to either submit a form directly to Walker Methodist Foundation with your payment or contact the company’s matching gift coordinator to report your gift.
