Arthritis Foundation Exercise Classes
The Arthritis Foundation exercise course will be offered at Walker at Hazel Ridge Monday afternoons from 1:30 - 2:00 p.m. The class teaches gentle, practical activities and exercises to help increase joint strength, range of motion and muscle strength. Participants who have taken the class have experienced such benefits as increased functional abilities, increased self-care, decreased pain, and decreased depression. Space is limited, so call to register today!

Highview Hills by Walker
Groundbreaking Celebration
(Lakeville, MN). The public is invited to attend a groundbreaking celebration for the new Highview Hills by Walker a nonprofit senior living community located on 202nd Street and Highview Avenue in Lakeville.

The groundbreaking celebration will be held on Monday, July 21, at 2:30 p.m. in St. John’s Lutheran Church parking lot, located at 20165 Heath Avenue on the north side of 202nd Street, across from Aronson Park and adjacent to the site of the future Highview Hills. Parking for the event will be available at St. John’s Lutheran Church as well as Aronson Park. Shuttle buses will be available.

Designed by Welsh Companies, and owned and managed by Walker Methodist, Highview Hills by Walker will have 153 apartments offering multiple living styles. Active adults 55 and older can live independently in spacious apartment homes, full of conveniences and amenities. If health needs change, tailored assisted living, memory care, and care suites will all be available within Highview Hills by Walker. When the community opens, residents will enjoy a host of amenities and services including a concierge in the lobby, day spa, chef’s demonstration kitchen,  club room with wide-screen TV, putting green, heated underground parking, and much more. Artist renderings of Highview Hills by Walker will be on display.

Walker at Westwood Ridge will be hosting it's Annual National Night Out at noon on Tuesday,
August 5 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Join us for hotdogs, coleslaw, chips, and more!
This event is free and open to the public, but we ask you to bring a non-perishable food item, which will be dontated to the Neighbors Food Shelf.
National Night Out is a crime prevention event focused on promoting neighborhood spirit and police/community partnerships. There will be visits from the local polic and fire departments! No RSVP is required, but if you have any questions, please call (651) 552-7228.
