Gentle Yoga

Begin the new year with a healthy start by joining us for Gentle Yoga! Gentle Yoga is an introduction to basic yoga. The class emphasizes stretching, coordinating breathing and movement, and attention to alignment. The class is designed to enhance balance, increase flexibility, and reduce stress.

Take a trip down the Mississippi River! The mighty Mississippi flows along nearly 700 miles of cities. Talented photographer, Doug Ohman will be presenting a fascinating slide show highlighting many points of interest from Itasca State Park to the Twin Cities.

Twins at the Met

Author, Bob Showers, has written a book capturing the rich and colorful history of the Minnesota Twins baseball team and their years at Met Stadium.Through interviews with legendary Twins players and staff, the program is packed with fond recollections and anecdotes.

Arthritis Foundation Exercise Classes

The Arthritis Foundation exercise course will be offered at Walker at Hazel Ridge Monday afternoons from 1:30 - 2:00 p.m. The class teaches gentle, practical activities and exercises to help increase joint strength, range of motion and muscle strength. Participants who have taken the class have experienced such benefits as increased functional abilities, increased self-care, decreased pain, and decreased depression. Space is limited, so call to register today!
