Walker at Hazel Ridge Starts a Wii Bowling League for Residents
(Maplewood, MN) – The Nintendo Wii is an exciting inter-active video game system. It is a fun and easy way to get some light exercise and socialize with others. Walker at Hazel Ridge residents have been really enjoying their Wii. The Wii and projection system were purchased through donations from the North High School Honor Society. On Wednesday afternoons, Walker at Hazel Ridge hosts bowling tournaments for residents, family members and North High School students. Their common area is turned into a virtual bowling alley, where the lanes are burned up with strikes and spares. It is easy to bowl with the motion sensitive controls. You swing your arm with the controller in hand, just like bowling a ball. Then you watch the screen to see how many pins have been knocked down. This video sports game offers stress-free exercise and a fun atmosphere for all.
