(Minneapolis, MN) Walker Methodist broke ground on October 3rd, 2011 on a major expansion of its Westwood Ridge campus in
Located atop a scenic hill in West St. Paul, Walker at Westwood Ridge is surrounded by woods and nature, yet close to the conveniences of Robert Street.
Residents today enjoy spacious apartments and a variety of amenities and optional services, which include acclaimed dining, housekeeping, transportation, personal assistance, and a full range of health services tailored to meet the individual needs of the residents.
The transitional Care and Rehabilitation Center will provide transitional care and on site rehabilitation for up to 36 patients at one time. It will also offer out patient rehabilitation for those in the community and those needing care after they have returned home.
The expansion also includes 24 memory care apartments which will feature an interactive kitchen and secure outdoor garden and an additional 10 care suites where residents can received 24 hour care including medication and diabetes management. The expansion is scheduled to be completed in summer, 2012.
