Title: Assistant Director of Nursing - FT days
Responsibilities: Supervise the licensed staff, (RNs & LPNs), providing services to residents on a single unit/floor. Accountable for the assessment and services that are provided on the unit over a 24 hour period. Use advances nursing skills to assess health needs in emergency situations.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Registered nurse with a current Minnesota license. Bachelor of Science degree in nursing is preferred. At least 3-5 years of nursing experience, including at least 2 in long-term care. Experience in supervisory or nursing management.

Responsibilities: Serves as the Chef/Supervisory Cook at Walker Methodist Health Center. Supervises all cooks; participates in the selection, training and development of all cooks. Prepares meals according to therapeutic diets, using batch cooking methods. Assists in the preparation of menus and all aspects of food preparation for residents and for the coffee shop and cafeteria. Adheres to the budgt and assures the quality control of all food prepared at Walker Methodist Health Center. Ensures that all food prepared is in accordance with State long-term care standards.
