Walker on the River provides adults 62 years and older with an affordable living option, along with the quality, safety, and amenities that have made Walker Methodist a leading provider of senior life enhancing and rehabilitative services.

Walker on the River is a federally-subsidized HUD 202, Section 8, senior housing community. The eligibility income limits and the annual income limits are determined by the Department of Housing and Urban Development of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Rent is based on 30% of a person’s annual income less any medical expenses.

Walker on the River features attractive one-bedroom apartments in a six-story building with an elevator. All apartments are handicapped accessible and two are specialized handicapped apartments
